Quivers Club Kilimani has announced that it will stop playing loud music, a decision made just hours after county officials revealed plans to shut down the popular Quiver Steak House in Kilimani due to noise pollution. Following extensive discussions with neighbours and in the interest of environmental conservation, the management now says they have eliminated loud music. In a statement released to the public, Quivers management said: "Following the current development based on the views of our neighborhood and in the spirit of unity, environment conservation, and the numerous telephone conversations between our wonderful neighbors and our management, we wish to bring this groundbreaking decision to public attention: we will be the first club to embrace an innovative concept by not playing music."
"We have had to close down the establishment because they ignored multiple notices and complaints from neighbours. This behaviour is illegal, and we are now enforcing action against those who have failed to address our soundproofing requests. We cannot allow continuous environmental pollution and disturbances to our community's peace," said Mosiria.
The club now says that by removing loud music, guests can still eat, drink, and have fun while engaging in more meaningful conversations.
"Our unique approach aims to create a space where guests can fully enjoy their time without the distraction of loud music. We believe people can still have a great time connecting, sharing in the joy of togetherness," Quivers stated.
The club’s management assured that its dedicated staff would be available to ensure guests feel welcomed and entertained.
"As we embark on this new adventure, we invite everyone to join us. Together, we can create a peaceful and conducive environment, one free from noise, where the energy of our guests sets the tone of the evening."
