Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan recently opened up about her past relationships, drawing comparisons between the fathers of her five children. In a candid Q&A session with her son Raphael, Zari recounted how her two baby daddies treated her when they were in love. Reflecting on her late ex-husband, Ivan Semwanga, who fathered her three older sons, Zari noted that he was not romantic but showed his love by showering her with material things. "Your dad was not romantic," Zari told her son. "He just splashed money on me. If I wanted a new car or if we were driving around, and I said I liked a car, the next day we would be out getting it. He would trade in my old car, top up the difference, and get me a new one." Zari wondered whether Ivan's way of expressing love was through his wealth or if he simply had an abundance of money. "He spent a lot on me, but I still question whether it was his way of showing love or if he just had a lot of money to spend," she said. In contrast, Zari described her second baby daddy, Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz, as someone who was far more emotionally involved and romantic. "Baba T (Diamond) was very romantic. Everyone could see it. He was the type to really get involved in his woman's life. I have people buying me beautiful flowers with a lot of money in them, but, I appreciate when a person does the little things more than just expensive gifts. It is about intention." Zari is currently married to her younger lover, Shakib Lutaya. Just recently, she accused Lutaya of being insecure after Diamond visited her house for their daughter's birthday. "I don't think I'm for you. I'm very secure, and I chose you. And with your insecurities, you thinking otherwise, I don’t think I’m for you. Maybe you should find people on your level. What do you bring to the table for me to be here proving myself?"
