Singer Moses 'Mr Seed' Omondi, who has recently stirred controversy with his latest song 'Éx Wangu', says he would never buy flowers for his partner. Giving flowers to a significant other is generally accepted as an expression of love and affection. But Mr Seed says he's not the type to buy a sweetheart flowers because he's not romantic. "I've never bought flowers for a woman, I don't think I'm romantic, I find it such a daunting task. But if you're a romantic guy and you do all these things, buying flowers and all that, then go ahead, because I can't do it. I am more of a 'gangster' type of guy, if you have to love me, you will love me for who I am," says Mr Seed. "My wife (Nimoh), first of all, is not the type who loves flowers. And again, giving flowers isn't the only way you can express and show that you love your partner. I think showing care is a love language, taking her out on dates and outings. Buying her gifts and things she likes, it doesn't have to be flowers," he maintains. In his latest release, 'Ex Wangu', Mr Seed takes a dig at unnamed exes. For years, Mr Seed and one of his exes have had a nasty social media spat. In a previous interview last year, the ex claimed that since they split up, she has been trying to get Mr Seed to take up some unfulfilled responsibilities, but the singer has not been up to the task.
