Mc Zaku, a 27-year-old welder from Juja, is accused of posting derogatory comments about Damaris Mureithi, CEO of Dama Mobile Spares Limited, on TikTok. He allegedly made offensive statements about Mureithi between June 30 and July 15, 2024. The court documents reveal that Mc Zaku posted three offensive videos targeting the businesswoman.
Plea and Bail
During his appearance before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi, Mc Zaku pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was granted bail, set at KSh 100,000, or a bond of KSh 300,000. Mc Zaku's lawyer informed the court that his client was assaulted during his arrest. The prosecution plans to call several witnesses to testify in the case.
