Award-winning rapper and entrepreneur Kennedy Ombima, better known as King Kaka, has announced that he has spent over Sh6 million on his latest project, the "Monkey Business" series. This new venture showcases his dedication to the Kenyan film industry.

The casting for "Monkey Business" began in December last year, and filming started by January 2024. According to King Kaka, a total of 162 people have contributed to the making of the series. He shared, "Between December and now, we've spent at least Sh6 million, and I'll calculate the earnings from the premiere soon."

Scar Mkadinali as the Lead
Rapper Scar Mkadinali takes on the lead role in "Monkey Business." King Kaka chose Scar due to their friendship and Scar's passion for film. After encouraging him to take acting classes, King Kaka was impressed with his performance and decided he was perfect for the role.
